Some of the activities we achieved

We created products from sustainable solutions

Through our programs we produced Bags made from natural, biodegradable materials such as jute, cotton, and hemp. These materials are sourced from plastic waste in Watamu and are free from harmful chemicals and dyes. By using natural fibers, we reduce the amount of plastic waste in the environment.

By choosing our eco-friendly bags, you are not only getting a high-quality product but also supporting sustainable practices. Join us in our mission to protect the environment and promote sustainability. Together, we can make a difference and create a better tomorrow for all.

We supported A group of women in Watamu

We supported a group of women that came together with a shared goal: to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Through The Watamu Project's women's empowerment program, these women received training in sewing, tailoring, and entrepreneurship. They pooled their resources and started making bags from their skills, growing and selling their products to earn a sustainable income.

We are not just building stronger individuals; we are building stronger communities. Together, we can create a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, grow, and contribute to the collective well-being of society.

We supported Orphans and needy children in Watamu

We dedicated our efforts to empowering orphans to overcome adversity and achieve their dreams. We believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Through our orphan support program, we provide educational assistance, emotional support, and mentorship to help orphaned children reach their full potential.

Our activities go beyond to serve as catalysts for personal and collective development.

Sewing and Crafts Program

The local women that made these bags went through the sustainable empowerment programs we designed as a group. Through the art of sewing and crafts, we offer more than just creative outlets; we provide a pathway to empowerment and sustainability. We empower them to be better and sustain themselves in the society

It has to be noted that all these materials are made from Waste Products in Watamu. By mastering the art of sewing and crafts, these women can take control of their own destinies, generating income and supporting their families.
