The Watamu CBO Project was founded with a clear mission: to equip underprivileged children in Watamu with the resources and support they need to thrive. We envision a future where every child in our community has access to quality education, nourishing food, clean water, and a safe haven.
Established and fully registered in Kenya, with registration number DSD/KFI/MLD/LR/CBO/MLD-D/26/2023 and Serial No. CBO 04531, our organization is committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of needy children, orphans, people living with disabilities, single mothers, and youth.

Pastor Lawrence is the visionary behind The Watamu Project. He founded The Watamu Project with the belief that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Pastor Lawrence designed the Watamu Project programs to be effective and sustainable, and have a lasting impact on the lives of those they serve.
Our Co-Founders
Mama Sabatin is our a mentor, advisor, and coach with a wealth of experience in community development and empowerment. Mama Sabina is our passionate support in helping others reach their full potential and achieve their goals..
She provides us with valuable insights, advice, and encouragement to help individuals overcome challenges and succeed in their endeavors.
Doctor Qistien 'Peter' Ramleth is passionate about supporting and in helping others , bringing his passion and commitment to making a positive impact. With his drive and vision, he works tirelessly to further the organization's mission and goals, inspiring others to join in their cause. Qistien's leadership and collaborative spirit help guide the organization towards success, making him a valued member of the team.
